A Holiday I Will Never Forget :D

Hey guys! Well, I went to Rome last Summer with my friends and we flew to Rome with British Airways.
We stayed for a week in a small hotel near the Colosseum. The hotel was nice and quite cheap! During the day we walked around the city. We saw all the famous places like the Colosseum and St Peter's, and we threw a coin into the Trevi Fountain for good luck :)

At night we went to restaurants and had fantastic pizza. Our favorite restaurant was in the Piazza Navona. We bought a painting of Trastevere (the old town).

Yummy! :D

I think I like that guy haha lol :D

We had a great time. Rome is full of history and has a special atmosphere, and Italian foods are wonderful. We only had two problems: it was very hot, and it was very difficult to cross the road -_- But we were having so much fun!

Well, we're going to go to Italy (again) this year. I'm sooo excited! Please give me a comment about your favorite holiday memory! :D See you all soon!

5 Questions

Well, yesterday I posted an entry about my first award from Ida. But I didn't understand it, so I commented on her blog and luckily she replied. She said that I have to answer 5 questions from her..

The questions are in Bahasa Indonesia but I'll answer them in English! :)

1. Siapa guru favoritmu?
My parents! They always teach me something new. They are my best teachers!

2. Apa makanan yang kamu sukai? makanan yang tak kamu sukai?
Aku suka semua makanan Indonesia! I usually have lunch with my family at Melati Restuarant every weekend. Here's a picture of Melati Restaurant:

3. Ceritakan pengalamanmu yang paling berkesan!
My first flight from Indonesia to London! It was amazing!

4. Siapa cinta pertamamu?
Sorry I can't tell you because its personal haha :D

5. Who is your best friend?
Her name is Brigitte. She's 16 and she's French but she was born and live in London. She loves music and she likes writing songs. She can play the guitar very well and she has a beautiful voice! I love to listening to her! And I like her because she's always there when I need her :)

Back To School!

The holidays are over which means the kids go back to school!!! And today was the first day of school!! ARGGHH..

French
My first lesson is french. We had a listening test which I find difficult. I get 14 out of 20. Not bad. Then we made revision list on the computer.

Math
The math teacher used an interactive whiteboard which has graphics and video, but I never very interested in the lesson!

History
Mr. Fishleigh is the history teacher. He's friendly but he talk to us as if we were adults!

Lunch
CANTEEN IS THE BEST PLACE IN SCHOOL!!! haha :D

Information and communication technology
We're designing spreadsheets for mobile phone sales and this is the most boring lesson!

The bell goes. End of school for the day. But as we leave there is a fight at the school gates, a crowd of pupils are watching.

Some pictures I took at the first day of school:

I was slightly bored in the car on the way  home

Happy Holidays!

What are your holiday wishes this year? Personally I'm not really sure, but it'll probably be a few movies, some gadgets and maybe some new Apple stuff. I don't know yet, but hopefully it'll be good! And I want to come back to Indonesia! It's hard to say how much I miss Indonesia!!
Oh, and by the way. I know you haven't seen anything new here, but that's because I've been busy with lots and lots of homework from school. I'll try to get some things done soon, including posts and maybe some new colors.

Honestly, my family doesn't celebrate Christmas because we aren't christian hehe but we just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Much love to everyone :)

The London Eye!

Today I was hanging out with some of my friends from school, they are Jessica, Allie and Natasha. We went to London Eye and we were having so much fun!

The London Eye was opened on New Year's Eve 1999 to celebrate the Millennium. It is 135 meters high, and from the top you can see all of the London. On a clear day you can even see Windsor Castle, which is 40 kilometers away. The London Eye has 32 capsules, each with room for 25 people. Each 'trip' lasts 30 minutes. It moves quite slowly, at a speed of about 15 meters a minute, but it never stops. Passengers have to get on when it's moving.

I took some quite good pictures as well, here's a few.

The London Eye!

At the top of the London Eye looking at the capsule in front of me, a bit scary!

Big Ben taken from the London Eye, Westminster Abbey is just behind Big Ben.

River Thames and bridges from the London Eye. Isn't it beautiful?

Opening Times
Daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the summer and from 10 a.m to 6 p.m in the winter

Tickets
In advance online or by phone. A limited number of tickets are available on the day from the Tickets Office in Country Hall (the building next to the Eye), but go early because you often have to queue.
